Is Dansstudio Flexx the same as Balletstudio Flex?
Yes! Balletstudio Flex was acquired as of July 1, 2026, and will continue under the name Dansstudio Flexx. You’ll find us at the same familiar locations, with the same certified instructors and an even wider range of dance styles.
Where are the dance classes held?
We have three locations: Hoofddorp (Jadelaan 149, our main location), Nieuw-Vennep (Kopsstraat 1–3), and Zwanenburg (Domineeslaan 87).
At what age can my child start taking dance classes?
Starting as early as toddler age! We begin with toddler dance and preschool dance, where the basics of ballet are taught through play. After that, your child can move on to classes such as classical ballet, street dance, hip-hop, or modern dance.
Can I take a trial class first?
Yes, the first trial lesson is always free and doesn't commit you to anything. You can easily sign up for it using the trial lesson form.
How much do dance classes cost at Dansstudio Flexx?
You can find all current tuition fees on our rates page.
What if it's difficult to afford the tuition at home?
Through the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture, the municipality can (partially) reimburse the cost of dance lessons for children. Feel free to contact us, and we’ll help you figure it out.
Can I host a children's party at your place?
Yes, at our location in Hoofddorp, we organize fun-filled children’s parties—ranging from a one-hour dance class to a fully organized party, where the birthday child gets to choose the dance style or theme. Please contact us to discuss the options.
What kind of clothes do I need for class?
That depends on the dance style. After you sign up or take a trial class, the instructor will let you know what you need. For the first (trial) class, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is all you need.
How can I cancel my membership?

Dance Classes for Your Child, Even When Money Is Tight
At Dansstudio Flexx, we believe every child should be able to dance—even if money is tight at home. That’s why we partner with the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture, represented in our region by Leergeld Haarlemmermeer. If you’re unable to pay the membership fee, they can cover the cost of dance classes at Flexx for you.
How does it work?
You can simply submit the application yourself through Leergeld Haarlemmermeer. They’ll check if your child is eligible and handle the rest with the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur. If your application is approved, your child can often start dancing within a few weeks.
Fill out the application form through Leergeld Haarlemmermeer: https://www.meerleergeld.nl/aanvraagformulier-5302/aanvraag-voor-jeugdfonds-sport-cultuur. You’ll then be notified whether your child can start.
What about the cost?
Leergeld and the Youth Fund consider the tuition fee and what else your child needs. Once approved, the funds go directly to Flexx. Do you still need dance gear? There may be assistance available for that as well. Leergeld Haarlemmermeer would be happy to tell you more about it.

Why have a dress code?
Flexx Dance Studio requests this because we want to present a professional image during open houses and performances.
However, we fully understand that if your daughter or son still has dancewear that fits, they will wear it first before complying with the requirements. We ask that you keep the above in mind when purchasing new dancewear.

Ticket Sales
Starting in April 2027 at the Hoofddorp, Nieuw-Vennep, and Zwanenburg locations.
Please email info@dansstudioflexx.nl with your daughter’s or son’s name, the day and time of their class, how many tickets you need, and for which show.
Starting in 2027, the envelopes can also be turned in during class.
